Land Surveys PNG have recently undertaken a survey of the Puma Facility in Lae.
The survey brief was to undertake a topographical survey based on PNG 94 of the area. We decided to present them with the opportunity to have the site laser scanned and also have the underground utilities surveyed for approximately the same cost.
This has now provided Puma and its engineers a useful data base for expansion to the existing plans whilst ensuring that underground services damage and clash detection on the existing plant is able to be designed around 2015.
