Lombrum Naval Base Offshore Processing Centre

Decmil were the main contractor for the civil and infrastructure work on the accommodation and facilities for the staff at the processing centre. This involved the setting out of the earthworks and civil structures for living accommodation, kitchens and medical facilities at the Naval Base.

The survey was carried out using GNSS systems and Robotic Total Stations to ensure accuracy and speed were maintained for the project surveying. All as constructed data was compiled on plans for any future expansions and information.

The physical conditions on site, although some of the most picturesque, were also a major challenge with high heat and humidity as well as heavy down pours nearly every day. 

Land Surveys constantly had a crew of two surveyors on site on a rotation basis throughout the duration of this project.
